President Donald Trump reminded the nation on Saturday of how much he appreciates our United States military by attending the Army-Navy football game — and when it came to the coin toss, he did the honors.
The president arrived for the game in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday afternoon, tweeting about his excitement for the event before he landed. Once on the ground, he spent some time greeting supporters.

In a statement, West Point said it was an “honor” to have the Commander in Chief present:
“It’s an honor to have the president in attendance as the nation watches these men fight one another with every ounce of their being on the field, but when it’s all said and done, they will combine to form one of the most powerful fighting forces known to mankind – the U.S. Armed Forces.”
President Trump attended the game alongside Secretary of Defense James Mattis, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, Secretary of the Interior Ryan Zinke and both the incoming and outgoing Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

It was the president’s second time attending the annual game, although just his first as since taking office. He attended the game back in 2016 when he was then president-elect.
In the 119th game, the U.S. Army West Point Black Knights will take on the Navy Midshipmen.
