The Philadelphia 76ers are dealing with the ongoing Ben Simmons drama, and the 25-year-old has declared he is not mentally ready to play. He is currently seeking professional help as he looks to get back out there.

Recently, Eagles center Jason Kelce called out Simmons, saying he needs to work hard and play better to get the passionate Philadelphia fan base back on his side. The statement came in response to the report Simmons did not want to face the wrath of the Philadelphia fans after everything that has transpired.

Former Sixers big man Dwight Howard responded to Kelce’s comments on Instagram in support of Simmons after playing with him for one season.

Howard wants to see Simmons do well as he was able to have some fun with him in the 2020-21 season. At this moment, it is important for Simmons to be get himself right and work toward getting him back on the floor.
