As a result, he has earned a lot of sympathy from all quarters around the world. Conor McGregor was not to be left out, as he too posted a message with some sympathy for ‘El Cucuy.’

‘Notorious’ is clearly calling out ‘El Cucuy’s double weight cut which played a factor in the main event. He wasn’t gasping between rounds, but he looked exhausted. Fans argue that the style is quintessentially Tony, but his punches were not causing as much damage as those of ‘The Highlight.’

The Irishman went on to say that Dustin Poirier could get the win if changes aren’t made. He mocked the 2nd ranked Lightweight fighter, as the current ranking system does not sit well with him.

What ‘Notorious’ suggested is actually a fight between the top-ranked Lightweight fighters. However, he is promised the next shot at the winner of the Lightweight Championship. In addition, the 3rd ranked Lightweight is also doing his bit to stay in the reckoning by taking shots at both Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje.
