There are five former Scarlet Knights currently on AAF rosters (six if you count quarterback Philip Nelson, but many have made it very clear they are not), and all five played this past weekend in their teams' respective games.
Two of the Rutgers players that saw the field did so after age and injuries seemed to derail their professional careers.
So, while it doesn't quite roll off the tongue like the NFL version, here is the inaugural edition of Rutgers in the Alliance of American Football:

LB STEVE BEAUHARNAIS, ARIZONA HOTSHOTS
It's been a long road back to football for the Saddle Brook native, and he seized his first opportunity back on the field. Beauharnais started in Arizona's 38-22 win over the Salt Lake Stallions on Sunday night and made the first two tackles of the game. He finished the night with six stops (one for a loss).
Beauharnais, who turns 29 in May, was a seventh-round pick by the New England Patriots in the 2013 NFL Draft after being a captain at Rutgers. He was in the league for three seasons with three teams, but had not played in the NFL, or anywhere else, since 2015.

Gause played on special teams as the Express lost to the Birmingham Iron, 26-0, on Sunday. He pushed a runner out of bounds on a punt return and was in on another tackle.
