In: Taylor Decker, Frank Ragnow, Graham Glasgow, T.J. Lang, Rick Wagner, Tyrell Crosby, Brian Mihalik, Wesley Johnson, Kenny Wiggins
Out: Corey Robinson, Dan Skipper, Jamar McGloster, Leo Koloamatangi, John Montelus, Joe Dahl
Change: Mihalik and Johnson in, Robinson and Dahl out
Breakdown: This just might be the hardest projection, because there's so little separating the interior reserves. Johnson, Dahl and Koloamatangi all played guard and center, while Wiggins has seen time both on the inside and outside. I think Wiggins has a slight edge because of that inside-out versatility, and has been prepped more than anybody to step in if something happens to T.J. Lang.
As for Dahl, he just hasn't had a good camp. He hasn't had a good preseason. And he bottomed out Thursday by getting blown off the ball, falling to his feet and tripping Jake Rudock for a sack in the process. The Lions have sunk a lot of time into developing him, but they should opt for the more experienced Johnson here.
On the outside, I swapped in Mihalik for Robinson. I still think Robinson is the preferred option, all things being equal, but he also injured his foot against Cleveland. There was no word on the severity after the game, but injuries are what have held him back over the years.
