Watch Russell Westbrook put a cap on this insane Thunder vs. Kings finish

The Thunder beat the Kings 110-107 on Thursday night, but absolutely none of it made sense. Everything that happened in the final 10 seconds of the game was insane.

First, Vince Carter pulled up for a 3-pointer all the way from Southern California. Of course he missed it — he’s 41. But Garrett Temple got the offensive rebound, and also missed his putback. Then this happened.

Justin Jackson to the rescue! I’m honestly not sure what is more ridiculous — the fact that Jackson got a putback to tie the game up or the fact that Carter pulled that shot with so much confidence. I mean, look at where he is.

That’s far.

Either way, Jackson got the putback so the Kings won, right? Nah. Not so fast. Russell Westbrook is here to break hearts.

There was literally a second left in the game and the Thunder escaped behind an insane shot from Westbrook. It looked like he just flung the ball at the rim and it dropped. Poor Kings, man.

This was an insane, and very good, finish though. It’s exactly what makes the NBA so exciting. So, please, give us more of this 10 times over, basketball gods. Thanks.
