Live from U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis at 6:30 p.m. ET on Sunday, February 4, the New England Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles will square off for the 52nd Lombardi trophy in Super Bowl LII.

Not only will the game be televised on NBC, but you can also live-stream the game on NBCSports.com.

NBC will also offer six hours of pregame material for those of you who want to devote the entire day solely to the Super Bowl.

Now that we know who is in the game and where you can find them, why don't we take a walk down memory lane and remember how both of these teams got to where they are?

The Patriots' Path to Super Bowl LII

The hardest part of the 2017-2018 season for the Patriots was the first four weeks.

Not only did they lose their opening game to the Chiefs 42-27, but they also lost to the Carolina Panthers, 33-30, and allowed over 31 points per game.

The defense was not in good shape.

After that, though, the Patriots went on to win 11 of their next 12 games, only losing to the Miami Dolphins in Miami, 27-20.

There was a close call in Week 15 against the Pittsburgh Steelers—remember the catch, or not a catch, or whatever it was by Steelers tight end, Jesse James?

From there, the Patriots secured the No. 1 seed in the AFC, dismantled the Tennessee Titans in the divisional round, 35-14, and were able to squeak by the Jacksonville Jaguars late in the fourth quarter, 24-20.

If not for some defensive pass interference calls, we could be examining a different teams path to the Super Bowl (the Jaguars) instead of the Patriots.

Just your usual Patriots season here—some initial concerns that were promptly fixed and 13-plus wins once again.

And now they seek their sixth title in the Brady-Belichick era.

The Eagles' Path to Super Bowl LII

The Eagles' path to the Super Bowl has been a bit more eventful than their counterparts' has been.

Like the Patriots, they finished the season 13-3, losing to the Kansas City Chiefs (Week 2), Seattle Seahawks (Week 13) and the Dallas Cowboys (Week 17).

They managed to put up points for a good chunk of the regular season, just seemingly breezing by opponents with quarterback Carson Wentz at the helm.

Unfortunately, Wentz was unable to finish the regular season.

In Week 14 against the Los Angeles Rams, Wentz tore both his ACL and LCL, according to Zach Berman of the Philadelphia Inquirer, and was out for the season.

With three games left and the Minnesota Vikings right behind them for the No. 1 seed, the Eagles needed Nick Foles to quarterback them into the postseason.

Foles won two of his three starts and put up monstrous numbers against the New York Giants in Week 15 (237 yards, four touchdowns).

Although they secured the No. 1 seed in the NFC, the Eagles were underdogs in the divisional round against the Atlanta Falcons.

They beat them 15-10.

Then it was the NFC Championship where they were underdogs against the Vikings.

They beat them—no, slaughtered them—38-7.

And now here we are, Super Bowl LII and they're underdogs again—4.5 point underdogs to be exact, according to OddsShark.

Will the Eagles embrace their underdog status once again and fly above the Patriots? Tune in on Feb. 5 to find out.

Super Bowl LII Prediction

The Eagles story is way more compelling—Cinderella-esque if you will.

However, the Patriots will win this game.

While the Eagles defense is just as—if not better—than the Jaguars', my concern here is with Foles down the stretch.

Can he make plays late in the fourth quarter to win this game? You know the Patriots are not going to turn the ball over so much that we have another NFC Championship route. It will fall on Foles' shoulders at some point.

Don't get me wrong, this game will be close. The Eagles will cover the spread but ultimately fall to the Patriots.

Score: New England Patriots 28, Philadelphia Eagles 24.
