The Cleveland Browns, New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts are among DMan's predicted winners against the spread for NFL Week 16. Entertainment purposes only.

I am picking all NFL games against the spread for the fourth straight season. For continuity purposes, I will use MGM Mirage lines via vegasinsider.com as of Wednesday afternoon unless noted.

Week 1: 8-7-1
Week 2: 6-9-1
Week 3: 9-7
Week 4: 7-8
Week 5: 8-7
Week 6: 8-7
Week 7: 9-4-1
Week 8: 7-7
Week 9: 5-8
Week 10: 6-7-1
Week 11: 8-5
Week 12: 8-7
Week 13: 6-10
Week 14: 7-9
Week 15: 7-8-1

Week 15 recap: It would take roughly 5,000 words to explain how I managed to go 7-8-1 instead of at least 10-6. In the interests of time, I will keep it to five letters: ridic.
What happened in an assortment of Week 15 ATS losses was almost impossible to believe -- except this is NFL 2018, where anything is possible.

Week 16

Saturday, Dec. 22
Washington at Tennessee
The line: Titans by 10
Skinny: Titans (8-6) have driven me crazy ATS this season. I never should trust them laying double-digit points, especially against the Redskins, who, though injury-riddled and down to their 10th quarterback, somehow are 7-7. I reluctantly opt for the Titans because they are the home team seeking a playoff berth.
The pick: Titans, 24-12.

UPDATE: Titans won, 25-16. (0-1 ATS)

Baltimore at L.A. Chargers
The line: Chargers by 4.5
Skinny: Chargers' remarkable Week 15 comeback in Kansas City -- trailed by 14 in fourth quarter; won, 29-28 -- convinced me that they can defeat the Ravens at home by five. Ravens rookie and substitute QB Lamar Jackson finally hits a speed bump.
The pick: Chargers, 24-19.

UPDATE: Ravens won, 22-10 (0-2 ATS)

Sunday, Dec. 23
Tampa Bay at Dallas
The line: Cowboys by 7
Skinny: Cowboys, serious again about trying to win the NFC East, rebound from Week 15 beat-down in Indianapolis (23-0). Their defense is the story against the Buccaneers.
The pick: Cowboys, 28-17.
