The Amway Coaches Poll saw a bit of shuffling after a busy Week 3. The changes, however, didn’t reach the top five.
Alabama easily retained the No. 1 ranking after a dominant road win at Ole Miss. The Crimson Tide received 60 of 63 first-place votes. Clemson, which handled Georgia Southern, is No. 2 with a pair of firsts. Georgia remained No. 3. Fourth-ranked Ohio State retained the final No.-1 vote but held steady at fourth overall after a solid win against TCU. The Horned Frogs dropped only three places to No. 17 after the loss to the Buckeyes. Oklahoma passed a road challenge at Iowa State and continues to round out the top five.

Stock up: LSU. The upward trajectory continues for the Bayou Bengals after their second win against a top-25 team in three weeks. This one on the road at Auburn vaulted them seven places to No. 6.
Stock down: Wisconsin. The Badgers tumbled 10 spots to No. 16 after their home loss to BYU.
Stock up: Stanford. The Cardinal climbed two spots to No. 7, though it was an overall rough week for the Pac-12, which saw two teams drop out of the rankings.
Stock down: Boise State. The Broncos took a seven-place hit to check in at No. 24 following their setback at ...
Stock up: Oklahoma State. The Cowboys were quite impressive in that Boise State win. The voters moved them up four slots to No. 15.
Stock down: Auburn. The Tigers of the Plains dropped only four spots to No. 11, but their tough trip through the SEC West won’t get any easier.
New kids on the block: No. 22 Texas A&M, No. 25 Boston College.
College dropouts: Southern California, Arizona State.
