I’m still mad. This shouldn’t be happening.
The Chiefs should be 9-1 at worst — but once again, they find new ways to lose football games they should absolutely be winning.
And they can only blame themselves. Time after time, they put themselves in excellent positions to blow teams out, only for the offense to forget how to play football. It’s a problem that doesn’t look like it will be sorted out any time soon.
But the biggest frustration is that this allows other teams to hang around in the hunt for the AFC’s No. 1 seed. The Ravens and Dolphins should be battling it out for the second seed — but here they are: in the running for the AFC’s prime position.
With the offense being as bad as it is, Kansas City must obtain the first seed.
This week’s voters were Stephen Serda, Jared Sapp, Nate Christensen, Dakota Watson, and myself
1. Philadelphia Eagles (1st)
They got away with one.
2. Baltimore Ravens (5th)
Suddenly a lot of their schedule looks very winnable.
3. San Francisco 49ers (3rd)
They’re playing the Ravens in a few weeks. Let’s go Faithful.
4. Kansas City Chiefs (2nd)
In Kansas City, Patrick Mahomes actually has the problems that Aaron Rodgers thought he had in Green Bay.
5. Detroit Lions (4th)
I would run through a wall for Dan Campbell.
6. Miami Dolphins (6th)
I miss Tyreek Hill. There... I said it!
7. Dallas Cowboys (7th)
I wonder what awful country singer the Cowboys will trot out for the Thanksgiving halftime show?
8. Jacksonville Jaguars (9th)
Calvin Ridley fantasy owners... rejoice!
9. Cleveland Browns (10th)
With that offense, there is no way they can do anything spectacular in the playoffs.
10. Houston Texans (12th)
Just keep winning!
11. Buffalo Bills (13th)
Josh Allen thinks he is back! But back to... what, exactly? Being the Chiefs’ whipping boy?
12. Seattle Seahawks (11th)
They’re lucky the NFC is as bad as it is.
13. Pittsburgh Steelers (14th)
The Steelers held a big watch party in Dublin, Ireland this weekend. How many Guinness beers did they drink watching that offensive performance?
14. Minnesota Vikings (16th)
Why are NFL head coaches so bad at time management?
15. Cincinnati Bengals (8th)
For the second time in his career, Joe Burrow has his season cut short through an injury. Tough times.
16. Denver Broncos (19th)
I know I‘m overreacting — but I am dreading Denver leaving Arrowhead Stadium with a win on Wild Card Weekend.
17. New Orleans Saints (18th)
The only NFC playoff team that isn’t safe.
18. Los Angeles Chargers (15th)
I would say something negative about Justin Herbert — but I fear for my life.
19. Indianapolis Colts (17th)
A countdown until they’re on the beach again.
20. Las Vegas Raiders (22nd)
How are we feeling about Sunday’s game, Chiefs fans?
21. Tampa Bay Buccaneers (21st)
Their running game is non-existent.
22. Green Bay Packers (25th)
From what I saw, it looked like Jordan Love had one of the better games of his short career. Their young receivers are balling. I’m jealous.
23. Los Angeles Rams (27th)
Too little, too late.
24. Washington Commanders (20th)
Sam Howell had how many turnovers?
25. Atlanta Falcons (26th)
I wonder who will play where this week? Drake London at linebacker?
26. Tennessee Titans (24th)
DeAndre Hopkins should be a Chiefs player.
27. New York Jets (23rd)
They’ve finally done the right thing.
28. Arizona Cardinals (29th)
Kyler Murray is fun to watch — but I’m not sure if he’s any good.
28. Chicago Bears (28th)
Justin Fields should absolutely be given another year in Chicago. They have much bigger problems than him.
29. New England Patriots (30th)
The Bill Belichick Goodbye Tour starts now.
31. New York Giants (32nd)
Tommy DeVito still lives at home with his Mum (as we say in the UK) and has all of his meals cooked for him. I’ll not lie: I’m somewhat jealous.
32. Carolina Panthers (31st)
The Cowboys had them at arm's length from start to finish.
