The 2020 NFL Draft is in the books.
So it’s time for our complete, team-by-team grades.
(The usual post-draft disclaimer: It’ll take two to three seasons before we know if these picks worked out or not. But if you want post-draft grades, for what they’re worth, then you’ve come to the right place.)

AFC EAST
• Patriots: No replacement for Tom Brady. What’s the deal there? Third-round edge rusher Anfernee Jennings is intriguing, but you have to wonder if third-round safety Kyle Dugger can make the transition from Division II Lenoir-Rhyne.
Grade: B-
• Bills: We love edge rusher A.J. Epenesa in Round 2. He has a ton of potential. Fifth-round quarterback Jake Fromm feels like a wasted pick. No first-round pick, due to the Stefon Diggs trade. But overall, the Bills did a solid job.
Grade: B+
• Jets: Joe Douglas waited until the fifth round to take a cornerback. Not ideal. But he did get a nice offensive tackle/wide receiver combination for Sam Darnold in the first two rounds — Mekhi Becton and Denzel Mims. But will Douglas regret passing on tackle Tristan Wirfs?
Grade: B
• Dolphins: Time will tell if Tua Tagovailoa over Justin Herbert was the right call. First-round offensive tackle Austin Jackson is a development player, so questions linger there. And the Dolphins might’ve reached for cornerback Noah Igbinoghene in Round 1.
Grade: B-
AFC NORTH
• Ravens: They once again showed why they’re such a strong organization. First-round inside linebacker Patrick Queen fills a major need. Second-round running back J.K. Dobbins has starter potential, and third-round wide receiver Devin Duvernay could be a steal there.
Grade: A-
• Steelers: Second-round receiver Chase Claypool is too inconsistent. No first-round pick this year for Pittsburgh, because of the Minkah Fitzpatrick trade. Just six picks overall for the Steelers, so not a ton to work with.
Grade: B-
• Browns: Let’s give the Browns the benefit of the doubt for once. They needed an offensive tackle, and they got a good one in Jedrick Wills. Second-round safety Grant Delpit might be the best player at his position in this draft. Maybe the Giants’ Xavier McKinney, but Delpit has an argument.
Grade: A-
• Bengals: Joe Burrow looks like a good one. A no-brainer pick. Immediate upgrade from Andy Dalton, too. Not that that’s hard to do. And in a receiver-deep draft, second rounder Tee Higgins could be just the receiving weapon Burrow needs.
Grade: A-
AFC SOUTH
• Texans: No first-round pick, due to the Laremy Tunsil trade. But defensive tackle Ross Blacklock in Round 2 is a great pick. Just five picks overall. Tough to judge this class.
Grade: B+
• Titans: Isaiah Wilson is a cheaper and possibly better replacement for Jack Conklin. Second-round cornerback Kristian Fulton has first-round talent. Really good draft.
Grade: A-
• Colts: They gave up their first rounder for DeForest Buckner. Receiver Michael Pittman early in Round 2 is a solid but not spectacular pick. We do like running back Jonathan Taylor in Round 2. Jacob Eason in Round 4 will be a cheaper backup quarterback than Jacoby Brissett.
Grade: B-
• Jaguars: Two really good first-round picks, to fill needs — cornerback C.J. Henderson and edge rusher K’Lavon Chaisson. And then the Jaguars made it 3 for 3 to start the draft, with receiver Laviska Shenault in Round 2. A well-rounded draft.
Grade: A-
AFC WEST
• Chiefs: They’re in pretty good shape already, as you might’ve heard. This draft was fine enough for the Chiefs. Nothing ground breaking. Second-round inside linebacker Willie Gay has a lot of red flags. So that should be a concern.
Grade: B
• Broncos: Good work by John Elway. He got two supremely talented receivers with his first two picks — Jerry Jeudy and K.J. Hamler. Third-round center Lloyd Cushenberry has immediate starter potential. Drew Lock should love this draft.
Grade: A-
• Raiders: Not great. Receiver Henry Ruggs at No. 12? And cornerback Damon Arnette at No. 19? The Arnette pick feels like a major reach. This draft has boom or bust written all over it.
Grade: C+
• Chargers: We like Justin Herbert better than Tagovailoa. And first-round inside linebacker Kenneth Murray has major leadership potential. Just six picks for the Chargers, and only those two before Round 4. So they better deliver.
Grade: A-
NFC EAST
• Eagles: Rough draft for Howie Roseman. Let’s start with the obvious terrible pick — quarterback Jalen Hurts in Round 2. So bad. Roseman completely mishandled the receiver situation in this draft, too. Maybe Jalen Reagor somehow redeems him.
Grade: D+
• Cowboys: We like CeeDee Lamb a lot, but why use a first-round pick on a receiver when you already have Amari Cooper? Cornerback Trevon Diggs in the second round is a nice pick. Jerry Jones might wind up OK in the end here.
Grade: B+
• Giants: Andrew Thomas better not be another Ereck Flowers. Second-round safety Xavier McKinney is a heck of a pick, though. He’ll be an immediate starter. Mostly depth picks after that. Dave Gettleman didn’t botch this, at least.
Grade: B
• Washington: Hard to go wrong when you get the best player in the draft. And that’s what Washington got with Chase Young. Plus, fourth-round receiver Antonio Gandy-Golden is a potential steal.
Grade: A-
NFC NORTH
• Packers: Jordan Love in Round 1? Not only does it annoy Aaron Rodgers, it doesn’t make much sense at this point in Rodgers’ career. He’s still playing at a high level. The Packers got no immediate difference makers in this draft. No weapons for Rodgers.
Grade: D+
• Vikings: Terrific draft for the Vikings, who nailed their first three picks — receiver Justin Jefferson, cornerback Jeff Gladney, and offensive tackle Ezra Cleveland. Taking Cleveland was a much better decision than trading for Trent Williams.
Grade: A-
• Bears: The Bears’ draft just feels kind of blah. Part of that stems from no first rounder (Khalil Mack trade). The second-round picks — tight end Cole Kmet and cornerback Jaylon Johnson — are prospects who could go either way. Not sure things.
Grade: C
• Lions: They made the right call at No. 3 and immediately upgraded at cornerback, with Jeff Okudah, who will be better than Darius Slay. Second-round running back D’Andre Swift was a nice pickup, too. The Lions got better. And they had to.
Grade: B+
NFC SOUTH
• Saints: Not like they needed the draft to get better, but they landed a good center in Round 1 (Cesar Ruiz) and a promising outside linebacker in Round 3 (Zack Baun). Just four picks.
Grade: B+
• Falcons: Why no edge rusher? On the other hand, cornerback A.J. Terrell could wind up being an important first-round pick.
Grade: C
• Buccaneers: They’re pushing hard for a Super Bowl in the next two years. And they got two win-now players with their first two picks — offensive tackle Tristan Wirfs and safety Antoine Winfield. Wirfs might be the best tackle in this draft. Tom Brady will love him.
Grade: A-
• Panthers: Derrick Brown will be a critically important piece for the Panthers’ struggling run defense. Second-round edge rusher Yetur Gross-Matos has defensive game-changing potential, too.
Grade: B+
NFC WEST
• 49ers: The big news for them on draft weekend is that they traded for Trent Williams. But in terms of their picks, they opted to not take a receiver early in Round 1. Questionable move, going with defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw. But all is forgiven if No. 25 overall pick Brandon Aiyuk works out as a star receiver.
Grade: B-
• Seahawks: Linebacker Jordyn Brooks in Round 1? Really? Second-round edge rusher Darrell Taylor has potential, but the Brooks pick makes little sense.
Grade: C+
• Rams: Second-round running back Cam Akers will have to step in immediately for Todd Gurley. Second-round receiver Van Jefferson is a sneaky good pick. The Jets could’ve used him, but they traded back.
Grade: B+
• Cardinals: Isaiah Simmons is a fantastic prospect who can help a defense in so many ways. No-brainer pick. Third-round offensive tackle Josh Jones is a good selection, too. Kyler Murray ought to like this draft. How in the world did Jones fall that far? What a steal.
Grade: A-
