INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) - Indiana Pacers star Victor Oladipo left Wednesday's game with a serious knee injury.
The injury occurred with about four minutes left in the second quarter of the Pacers game against Toronto. Oladipo was running back on defense when he crumbled to the ground under the Raptors basket.
Oladipo left the game on a stretcher with what the Pacers have described as a serious knee injury. He was seen on the Fox Sports Indiana television broadcast holding his right knee and groaning in pain.
The team said Oladipo will have an MRI on the injured knee on Thursday. ESPN NBA Insider Adrian Wojnarowski reported the Pacers fear the injury will require surgery that would end Oladipo's season.
Preliminary exam has left Pacers with fear that Victor Oladipo has suffered a season-ending knee injury that will require surgery, league sources tell ESPN. He will undergo an MRI on Thursday.
