The Celtics face the Cavaliers tonight at TD Garden, with tip-off set for 7:30 p.m.
The Patriots, set to face the Rams in Super Bowl LIII on Feb. 3, begin preparation with the game still more than a week away.
The Patriots trolled Rob Parker on Twitter: Continuing a theme begun earlier in the playoffs, the Patriots released another video on Twitter highlighting the failed prediction of a frequent critic. Rob Parker, a regular talker on FS1’s “Undisputed,” was the target this time.
Parker was shown in the video declaring that the “reign of terror will finally be over” in reference to what he believed was an imminent Patriots loss to the Chiefs in the AFC Championship. Of course, the Patriots prevailed in Kansas City, 37-31, and are headed back to the Super Bowl.
On Tuesday, the Patriots tweeted out the video with the caption, “Sorry to reign on your celebration.”

Parker has been a common critic of Tom Brady and the Patriots. In August, he declared that Brady would decline in the 2018 season, and “the Patriots [will] not get to the Super Bowl.”

More from Boston.com:
Revs reject offer for Diego Fagundez from Uruguayan team: The New England Revolution reportedly rejected a loan offer from Uruguayan powerhouse Club Nacional for 23-year-old forward and playmaker Diego Fagundez. Though he grew up in Leominster, Fagundez was born in Montevideo, and has expressed interest in a move. [The Boston Globe]
Go for it: Rams coach Sean McVay is known for being an innovative mind and one of the best tacticians in the NFL. Yet as recent history has shown, his conservative fourth down tendencies have hurt the Rams, and could prove to be a major subplot in Super Bowl LIII. [The Ringer]
36 things you might not remember about Super Bowl XXXVI: The last time the Patriots played the Rams in the Super Bowl, circumstances were a little different than they are now. New England was a strong underdog, while St. Louis – not Los Angeles, as the Rams are now – was on the verge of becoming the NFL’s new dynasty. [NESN]

An old Patriots adversary might get a new chance:
Here’s a name to watch for the now vacant Chiefs’ DC job, per sources: former Jets and Bills’ HC and current ESPN analyst Rex Ryan, who has been approached about other DC openings in recent seasons.

On this day: In 2005, the Patriots defeated the Steelers 41-27 in the AFC Championship Game, avenging a regular season defeat that halted New England’s NFL record 21-game winning streak. An early flash point in the game came when Tom Brady, playing with a 103-degree fever, hit Deion Branch for a 60-yard touchdown pass after the Patriots defense stopped Jerome Bettis on 4th and 1.
Daily highlight: Luka Dončić cut right through the Mavericks’ defense going behind-the-back.
