Foster (knee) suffered a hyperextended knee Saturday but avoided ligament damage, Aditi Kinkhabwala of NFL Network reports.
The Steelers feared the worst after Foster was carted off with a knee injury Saturday but tests came back negative for ligament damage. Foster's timetable for recover is 4-5 weeks, meaning the mainstay at guard could be back in time for Week 1.
