The NFL could kick off the 2019-20 season in Music City.
Nashville is expected to be named host city of the 2019 NFL Draft at the owners meetings this week in Atlanta, ESPN reported, citing unidentified league sources
According to the report, Nashville "encouraged the NFL to use the Ascend Amphitheater for the draft theater, Nissan Stadium and its parking lots for the fan experience, and the Schermerhorn Symphony Center for the Titans' war room."
The report noted that cities under consideration for the 2019 and 2020 drafts include Las Vegas, Denver, Kansas City and a combination bid from Cleveland and Canton, Ohio.
The league’s spring meetings are scheduled to take place Tuesday and Wednesday.
The 2018 NFL Draft was held at the Cowboys' AT&T Stadium last month, marking the first time that the event took place at an NFL stadium. However, ESPN's report didn't specify if the draft would be held at Nissan Stadium, the Titans' home.
