Tom Brady has typically been one of the first people in the building in recent years when the New England Patriots host voluntary team workouts, but that is apparently not going to be the case this offseason.
Jeff Howe of The Athletic reports that Brady is not expected to attend the start of voluntary organized team activities on Monday.
Tom Brady will not attend OTAs today, per source.

Brady has not yet attended voluntary offseason workouts, and there have been indications that he doesn’t plan to be a regular participant in the program.
With all the drama that has surrounded the Patriots in recent months, it hardly seems like a coincidence that Brady has suddenly decided he would rather work out on his own. There’s no real reason to panic unless Brady doesn’t show up for mandatory minicamp next month, but his absence from OTAs still isn’t the best sign.
While it’s possible there is still some lingering tension over Bill Belichick’s bizarre coaching decision in the Super Bowl, there seems to be a bigger issue at play. Brady and his personal trainer have been on a crash course with Belichick for quite some time, and that almost certainly has something to do with why Brady is not working out with the team.
