The Green Bay Packers and New York Jets are duking it out at Lambeau Field this Saturday night, and it was the Jets who earned a 17-14 halftime lead. Both Jets rookie quarterback Zach Wilson and Kurt Benkert of the Packers looked sharp in the first half, as both signal-callers put together long scoring drives. Wilson played the majority of the first half and completed 9 of 11 passes for 128 yards and two touchdowns -- both of which went to tight end Tyler Kroft.
A major storyline that came out of the first half were injuries suffered by New York. Linebacker Jarrad Davis was carted off with a leg or foot injury, and then offensive lineman Conor McDermott was carted off just before halftime with a leg injury as well. Remember, the Jets also lost star pass rusher Carl Lawson this week for the season due to a ruptured Achilles.
Will the Jets continue to roll in the second half or will Green Bay's backups mount a comeback? Follow along in the live blog below, as we break down the action as it happens and provide video of highlight-reel plays.
