Ohio State Starting Left Guard Harry Miller Out For Sugar Bowl Vs. Clemson | Eleven Warriors - Eleven Warriors

Ohio State will be without one of its usual five offensive lineman on Friday.

Harry Miller, the team's starting left guard, will miss the Sugar Bowl against Clemson. He tested positive for coronavirus, per his mother Kristina on Facebook.

Ohio State and Clemson will release their status report detailing complete lists of players on each team who won't play on Friday approximately two hours before kickoff of the 8:20 p.m. game.

For all six games this season, Miller has lined up as a starting offensive lineman. He's been the team's left guard for five of them and started in place of Josh Myers at center against Michigan State. Though he has had an up-and-down first season as a starter, he earned third-team All-Big Ten honors by the media.

Without Miller at its disposal in the College Football Playoff semifinal, Ohio State will likely turn to redshirt sophomore interior lineman Matthew Jones to fill in. He's played 79 offensive snaps and started at left guard versus the Spartans when the Buckeyes were missing three starting linemen. Dawand Jones and Enokk Vimahi are another pair of options.
