Chiefs RT Mitchell Schwartz will be active for Bills game - Arrowhead Pride

The Kansas City Chiefs have released their list of inactive players for Monday’s Week 6 game against the Buffalo Bills. After being listed as questionable with back issues on the week’s final injury report, right tackle Mitchell Schwartz will be active for in the game.

Wide receiver Sammy Watkins’ presence on the inactive list is not s surprise; on Saturday’s injury report, he was listed as out with a hamstring injury. We expect both Mecole Hardman and Byron Pringle to get more offensive snaps in Watkins’ absence.

Running back Le’Veon Bell — signed to the team on Thursday — also appeared on the final injury report as out, but not because he is injured. Until he has completed the multi-day COVID-19 testing that is required before he can enter the Chiefs’ facility, he will unable to join the team.

Left guard Kelechi Osemele was officially placed on injured reserve on Saturday. We expect offensive lineman Mike Remmers to start in his place.

Tight end Ricky Seals-Jones is active for the first time this season — likely because fullback Anthony Sherman remains on the Reserve/COVID list after being exposed to the coronavirus. Rookie tackle Yasir Durant will be active for only the second time this season.

The rest of the team’s inactive players were listed as full practice participants — and without injury designations. They should be considered healthy scratches.

The Bills have also released their inactive list for the game. Running back Zack Moss and wide receiver John Brown — both of whom have been treated for injuries this week will play. Worth noticing: defensive end Trent Murphy and defensive tackle Harrison Phillips — both of whom started Tuesday night’s loss to the Tennessee Titans — are inactive for the game.

Buffalo did not list any players with an injury status on their final report of the week. Tight end Dawson Knox (calf) did not practice on Saturday, while guard Quinton Spain (foot), quarterback Jake Fromm and linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (shoulder) were limited in practice. Of those, only Edmunds will be active for Monday’s game. Linebacker Matt Milano has been dealing with an injury, but despite participating fully in Saturday’s practice, he will miss the game.
