1. Jerry Jeudy, Alabama, 6-1, 193
Immediate No. 1 target enters NFL with all the advanced technical finer points, much like former Alabama receiver Julio Jones in 2011.
2. CeeDee Lamb, Oklahoma, 6-2, 198
Played with three different NFL quarterbacks. He beats the defense before the pass with route-running and after the catch with tackle-breaking.
3. Henry Ruggs III, Alabama, 5-11, 188
Ran one of the fastest 40-yard-dash times (4.27) ever at NFL Scouting Combine. A Tyreek Hill-like matchup nightmare in the slot or on the outside.
4. Justin Jefferson, LSU, 6-1, 202
Four touchdown catches in the first half of the national semifinals were the icing on an 18-touchdown, 1,540-yard season.
5. Denzel Mims, Baylor, 6-3, 207
Generates big plays and wins 50/50 balls downfield and in the end zone, making up for a lack of separation against press coverage.
6. Laviska Shenault Jr., Colorado, 6-1, 227
Creative play-caller’s dream because he lines up all over the field, including quarterback. Physical play is trademark but could lead to injury.
7. Tee Higgins, Clemson, 6-4, 216
True deep threat whose long strides produce big plays (nearly 20 yards per catch in 2019) down the sidelines.
8. Brandon Aiyuk, Arizona State, 6-0, 205
Former JUCO on the rise because of soft hands, ability to make defenders miss and value as a returner.
9. Chase Claypool, Notre Dame, 6-4, 238
Needed his fast 40-yard dash (4.42) at NFL Scouting Combine to quiet talk of switching to tight end. Good run blocker.
10. Michael Pittman Jr., USC, 6-4, 223
Possession receiver — but a muscular one, not the undersized slot type — who works the middle of the field.
Late riser
Mims: Winner of the offseason from the Senior Bowl through the NFL Scouting Combine, showing off a rare size-speed combination to sneak into the first-round conversation.
Dropping fast
Van Jefferson, Florida, 6-1, 200: Senior Bowl standout would have been in top 10 but surgery-requiring foot fracture plus canceled pro days and depth of this class could knock him into late rounds.
Small-school wonder
Antonio Gandy-Golden, Liberty, 6-4, 223: Totaled 2,433 receiving yards and 20 touchdowns in two seasons after Liberty jumped to FBS ranks. Trouble with drops, but huge catch radius.
