There were certainly some surprises in CBS Sports HQ's fifth and final Mock Draft Monday. The biggest one involved the Miami Dolphins, who decided not to select quarterback Tua Tagovailoa with the fifth overall pick. Miami also pulled off the only trade in Monday's mock, acquiring the 15th overall pick from the Broncos in exchange for the 18th and 70th overall picks.
It was an ideal mock draft for several teams, including the Buccaneers, Cowboys, Eagles and Patriots, who were able to select players who should immediately fill some of their biggest needs -- and those teams didn't need to trade up to acquire them. The Patriots, with the 23rd pick, were actually able to find Tom Brady's possible heir without having to move up.
Some of the many experts who took part in our final Mock Draft Monday include ex-NFL players Brady Quinn, Bryant McFadden and Danny Kanell; former NFL executive Scott Pioli; NFL insiders Jonathan Jones and Jason La Canfora; senior NFL analysts Pete Prisco and Will Brinson; NFL fantasy analysts Jamey Eisenberg and Dave Richard; and NFL Draft analyst Ryan Wilson.
Here are the complete results from Monday's mock draft. You can also follow along by taking a look at the analysis of each pick below, which was made it real time.
