MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (WTAP) - It's been widely reported, but not yet confirmed by WVU officials, that Neal Brown will become the 34th head coach of the Mountaineer football team.

Brown, 38, and comes to Morgantown after 4 seasons as head football coach of the Troy University Trojans in Troy, Alabama.
He's been considered an "up-and-comer" in the coaching ranks.
In 4 seasons at Troy, Brown has put together a 35-16 record, including three 10-win seasons in a row.
Brown's teams have dominated the Sun Belt Conference and his teams have signature wins over LSU and Nebraska, and narrowly lost to Clemson in 2016.
Neal Brown's hiring won't be officially announced until the details of his contract with WVU have been completed
