According to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero, the Denver Broncos have agreed to terms with former Chicago Bears Pro Bowl cornerback Kyle Fuller on a one-year, $9.5 million dollar deal.
The #Broncos have agreed to terms with two-time Pro Bowl CB Kyle Fuller on a one-year, $9.5 million deal, including $9M fully guaranteed, per source. They swooped in quickly after the #Bears released Fuller, who now reunites with Vic Fangio in Denver.

Fuller is reuniting with Broncos Head Coach Vic Fangio who was the Bears Defensive Coordinator a few years back and Ed Donatell who was the Bears secondary coach as well.
He’s a 5-11, 194-pound cornerback who has played all seven of his NFL seasons with the Chicago Bears. During those seven seasons, Fuller totaled 377 tackles, 82 pass deflections, and 19 interceptions. This past season, Fuller totaled 62 tackles, 8 pass deflections, and 1 interception.
The addition of Fuller, who is a legitimate number one corner, and pairing him recently signed Ronald Darby on the outside with Bryce Callahan focusing more on the slot could give the Broncos one damn good secondary in 2021. Add in a healthy Von Miller paired with the Pro Bowler Bradley Chubb and the Broncos can easily have a top-five defense under Vic Fangio.
Just look at the percentage of passes Fuller has allowed during is time in the NFL. This past season for the Bears, he allowed 53.7% of his targets to be completed and his career average is 52.3%. He has also only allowed 3 or more touchdowns once in his career and that was his rookie season when he allowed 4 touchdown passes. So, he has been a damn good corner and is an excellent addition to the Broncos secondary.
This addition also makes the Broncos' 9th overall selection very interesting now. Before the start of free agency, you had cornerbacks Patrick Surtain or Caleb Farley mocked to the Broncos. Now, with Fuller and Darby signed during the opening of free agency, that significantly lowers the odds of the Broncos going corner in the first round of the draft.
