The Jets came out flat Sunday and lost in embarrassing fashion for the second consecutive week.

Adam Gase now has more career losses by double-digits than he has career wins after New York fell, 29-15, in Jacksonville. The Jets were overmatched, giving up big play after big play. The Jaguars took advantage of mental lapses in coverage as well as New York had two inexperienced middle linebackers patrolling the field.

The offense was inept again. Sam Darnold had an excellent bounce-back drive but struggled after that. The Jets’ inability to string consistent drives together, while their quarterback was running for his life the entire afternoon and continually turning over the football, pretty much summed up their entire season.

Now 1-6, here are four interesting stats from Week 8.
