Other than the Michael Bennett case, the Eagles have been able to fly under the radar when it comes to legal issues this offseason. Unfortunately, another issue arose after an incident early Sunday morning.

Newly acquired defensive back Daryl Worley was tasered and arrested on Sunday according to a report by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. A gun was reportedly recovered on the scene as well.

The incident occurred near the Eagles’ facility on Broad and Patterson street according to Mike Garafolo of NFL Network. The intersection of Broad and Patterson is the home to Philadelphia’s sports complex which includes Lincoln Financial Field, Citizen’s Bank Park, and the Wells Fargo Center, where the Sixers won the first game of the playoffs on Saturday.

Worley, a Philadelphia native, was reportedly found passed out inside a vehicle blocking a highway.

The Eagles confirmed the arrest happened and said they are in the process of gathering more information.  Players are set to report to the NovaCare complex for the start of offseason workouts on Monday.
