The debacle first started after UFC president Dana White announced that McGregor will no longer be the lightweight champion when the Octagon door closes for the UFC 223 bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov. The winner of that fight, White said Thursday, will be the undisputed lightweight champion.
After airing his grievances with the UFC on Twitter, McGregor crashed the media day at the Brooklyn arena, getting into altercations with multiple fighters there.

After the altercations, McGregor then left the scene in a van with his team before authorities or White could arrive.
