A couple of Memphis Grizzlies youngsters, Dillon Brooks and Ja Morant in particular, had something to say about the Andre Iguodala situation in Memphis.
Brooks first took a shot at Iguodala, telling reporters that he can’t wait for the former Finals MVP to be traded so they face him and show him what Grizzlies basketball is all about. Morant then took to Twitter to second the motion with a simple shouting emoji.
Apparently this reached Iggy’s former Golden State Warriors teammate Stephen Curry. The two-time NBA MVP shushed the two youngsters by posting a championship picture of Andre Iguodala on his Instagram.

To recall, the Warriors traded Andre Iguodala to the Grizzlies this past summer to make room for D’Angelo Russell.
Shortly after arriving in Memphis, Iguodala made it known from the start that he had no intentions to suit up for them. The Grizzlies agreed to Iguodala’s request to sit out until the team could find a suitable landing spot for him.
Andre Iguodala reportedly gave Memphis a list of contenders he wants to go to, though it’s unclear which teams they are. Many have assumed that the two Los Angeles teams, the Lakers and Clippers, are front-runners to land the former Finals MVP.
Now, with just a couple of days to go before the Feb. 6 trade deadline, the 36-year-old forward is still on their payroll as they have yet to find the right deal for him.
Memphis has made it clear that it wants to trade the three-time NBA champion. But if they can’t, Andre Iguodala is reportedly ready to take the entire season off if the Grizzlies can’t trade him to one of his preferred destinations. Memphis is surprisingly in the playoff picture in the Western Conference, but that’s not changing this situation.
